Inserting machine for the casing of prismatic cell lithium batteries.

This machine automatically inserts the battery cell into the aluminum case and performs an hi-pot test on the inserted battery.

This machine automates the insertion of the battery cell into the lithium casing. The incoming battery cells is automatically fed from the previous station(Mylar wrapping machine)whereas the lithium casings are manually loaded into the station. This station also performs an Hi-pot test on the battery after it has been inserted. The machine automatically separates the battery according to the test result.

The test data such as the battery resistance, the electric potential and the testing time is linked to the barcode of each battery and is both stored on the station's industrial computer and uploaded to the client's MES system.As they exit the station the batteries are loaded on a plastic carrier and transported to the next manufacturing station with a RGV.
