This machine automatically applies an insulating film to the battery lithium casing, folds the insulating film so that it wraps the battery case on all sides and applies an insulating plate on the top of the battery. It then automatically measures the size,weight and the insulation of the wrapped battery.
The machine operates using flexible and deformable rubber rolls that press on the battery surface to expel the air between the foil and the battery case in order to ensure that the insulating film is pasted firmly.
The machine uses displacement sensors to measure the width,thickness, height of the wrapped case and height of the poles. The current leakage between the insulating film and the battery case is measured with a Hi-pot Tester, in this way the insulation of the insulating film is evaluated. The weight of each battery is then automatically measured with an electric scale. All the relevant test data is recorded in the computer system. Based on this data the machine is able to separate defected batteries that are then automatically transferred to a buffer to be later removed.
The machine control system supports historical data query and export, key parameters real-time display and issues report tracking.
All data recorded is linked to the barcode on the top of the battery and is automatically saved on the computer unit where it is uploaded to the MES system.
